However, it has a remarkably short lifecycle — 30–50% of the skin’s hyaluronic acid degrades every 24 hours. With age, the skin’s ability to replenish this loss declines significantly: production begins to decrease in the 20s and accelerates in the 40s. This combination of rapid degradation and reduced production contributes directly to visible signs of aging, including decreased firmness, loss of facial plumpness, and rougher skin texture.

Standard hyaluronic acid serums address only the surface layer of this problem. H.A. How to Use

Apply 4–6 drops to the palm of the hand and dab onto the forehead, cheeks, chin, and neck once or twice daily. Blend gently into skin until fully absorbed. In the morning, apply after a SkinCeuticals vitamin C antioxidant serum and before a SkinCeuticals broad-spectrum sunscreen. In the evening, if using a retinol treatment, apply H.A. Intensifier after retinol application. For post-filler home care, follow your physician’s specific protocol and timing recommendations.
